Why Well Child Exams Matter
Well Child Exams are an important part of your child’s health and development. These visits help monitor physical, emotional, and developmental wellness while giving families the opportunity to discuss questions or concerns with their healthcare provider.

Sports Physicals Are Not the Same as Well Child Exams
Sports physicals help determine whether your child can safely participate in school sports and activities, but they do not replace an annual Well Child Exam.
Whenever possible, families are encouraged to schedule a Well Child Exam and sports physical together during the same appointment. Combining these visits can help save time while ensuring your child receives comprehensive preventive care in addition to meeting school sports requirements.
