Dr. Mullen, a native of rural southeastern Indiana, earned his medical degree and completed his Family Medicine residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
Prior to moving to Northern Michigan, Dr. Mullen served as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. During this time, he practiced both hospital medicine and outpatient primary care while actively educating medical students and residents.
Dr. Mullen is committed to providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, and he is passionate about patient education. Outside of medicine, he enjoys gardening, cooking, cycling, traveling, SCUBA diving, and spending time with his family. He looks forward to joining the Northern Michigan community and caring for patients in the area.
