Grass River Natural Area – Summer Camp Registration Opens

Registration will open on Wed March 18th at Noon.
Monday through Thursday (4 days)
9:00am to 3:00pm
$240 per camper for 1 week
Weeks for 2026:
Week 1 – June 22-25
Week 2 – July 6-9
Week 3 – July 20-23
Week 4 – August 3-6
Day Camp – Ages 6 to 11
Grass River Natural Area will be hosting a 2026 summer day camp for children 6 to 11 years old. Your children can spend their summer catching salamanders in the wetlands, dipping nets in Finch Creek, building shelters in the woods, making tie dye, or enjoying the view along Grass River – perfect for the child that loves the outdoors. Campers may be divided into groups by age.
For Older Campers:
Campers ages 12-16 are invited to join our Naturalist-In-Training program. In this program, campers get a behind-the-scenes look at the day of a naturalist. They get to shadow one-on-one with a naturalist to greet visitors, hike the trails, assist with teaching, help with conservation projects, and more in this custom program. Naturalist-In-Training programs are offered as single day experiences throughout the summer, 10am-3pm, scheduled individually with families. $50 per day, per camper.
