How Is This Different From a Physical?
An Annual Wellness Visit focuses on prevention and health planning. It does not include a complete head-to-toe physical examination.
A routine physical or problem-focused appointment may include an examination, diagnostic testing, treatment, or discussion of new symptoms.
When additional health concerns are addressed during your Annual Wellness Visit, a separate charge or copay may apply.
Why Schedule an Annual Wellness Visit?
Preventive care can help identify health risks early and keep your care plan up to date.
Your Annual Wellness Visit gives you dedicated time to talk about your health goals, review recommended care, and make a plan for the coming year.
Even when you feel well, this visit can help you take an active role in protecting your health.
