COVID Drive Thru Testing Line at 231-222-2320
The East Jordan and Bellaire Family Health Centers continues to work daily to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and are proud of the hard work that our staff has put into protecting our community and developing a plan for future care. East Jordan Family Health Center will be offering Drive-Thru COVID testing based on MDHHS and CDC guidelines and priorities in addition to the Bellaire Family Health Center drive thru testing location.
East Jordan and Bellaire Family Health Centers will offer drive thru testing for individuals on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 12 pm – 4 pm. Testing will be available by appointment only and for those have been referred by their primary care provider. Individuals do not need to be a current patient of the East Jordan & Bellaire Family Health Center to receive testing but will need a provider’s order or undergo a pre-screening prior to testing.
If you feel you are displaying symptoms or fall within the MDHHS testing priorities, contact the health center’s COVID Drive Thru Testing Line at 231-222-2320 to be pre-screened and/or schedule an appointment.
Testing is a self-administered Nasal Swab test. The process allows the patient to swirl the swab inside their own nose and then the swab is placed in a container and sent to a lab for testing.
“Testing remains critical to our efforts to slow the spread of the virus,” said Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, MDHHS chief medical executive and chief deputy for health. “Increased testing helps us understand where this disease is so we can identify people at highest risk and make sure we are quickly implementing best practices for preventing further cases and deaths.”
