Dr. Maureen Street, MD is a graduate of the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. She also completed her Family Practice Residency at Michigan State University. She completed her Residency at Michigan State University Family Practice Residency and then went on to complete a Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, in Underserved Medicine. She opened the Browning Claytor Health Clinic in the inner city of Grand Rapids after completing her residency training. To this day, the clinic continues to grow and serve the needs of patients and their community. She then grew Muskegon Family Care from a dilapidated free clinic to a vigorous FQHC with 3 sites with 22 Providers. She has spent most of her career working in community health centers, caring for the disenfranchised, focusing on empowerment, celebrating diversity, and honoring the innate wisdom of patients to know what is best for them. Dr. Street believes in enjoying life to the fullest and loves to laugh, sail, and cycle. She is the proud mother of three children and two grandchildren.
