Jessie began working at East Jordan Family Health Center with a Bachelor of Social Work degree as the Behavioral Health Coordinator. Jessie has most recently transitioned into the newest integrative behavioral health counselor after graduating with her Master in Social Work degree from Spring Arbor University. By working directly with our providers, she integrates the medical and mental health care models into one setting by understanding that both medical and behavioral health factors are important parts of a person’s overall health. Jessie offers brief intervention for patients utilizing person-centered and strength-based approaches to motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
