“East Jordan Family Health Center Continues to Protect Employees and Their Families.”
East Jordan, MI. As a health center caring for our community during the COVID-19 outbreak, East Jordan Family Health Center knows that we are not immune to exposure. Our health centers are proud of the courage and dedication of the entire staff during this unpreceded time. Keeping the safety of our employees, their families and patients as a top priority, let us know how we can best support our community during this time.
The Bellaire and East Jordan Family Health Center COVID Taskforce team is meeting daily to be continually educated about the virus, community spread and how best to protect our staff, their families and patients during this time. The health center has moved 95% of its patients to telephone visits and have set a staff rotation in effect to mitigate the spread and reduce their stress. Working together, we can limit the impact of the virus on our community.
The health center has taken significant measures to prevent the transmission of the Coronavirus within our facilities. The health centers will continue these daily prevention efforts including donning masks, using PPE for testing, and practicing social distancing both at home and at work to mitigate the spread. As a result of following these proactive measures, patients, employees and their families of Bellaire and East Jordan Family Health Centers remain at a low risk for exposure to the Coronavirus.
Please help prevent the spread of coronavirus by adhering to the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order by Governor Whitmer, and when you do need to go out for essentials, continue to use prevention including wearing a mask and staying 6 feet from other individuals.
