The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is now authorized and recommended by the FDA and CDC for children ages 5-11. The dose is child-sized at 1/3 the size of the adult vaccine, and it has shown to be nearly 91% effective during clinical trials.
The Bellaire and East Jordan Family Health Center will be providing COVID-19 Vaccines for children ages 5-11 once we have access to the smaller Pfizer doses.
